What we do, in the company's words

“FAITH-8 builds workforce solutions that help employers retain, develop, and empower working-parent talent at scale. We transform retention challenges into long-term organisational advantage through community, career progression, and modern employee support infrastructure.”

Our founder

Sera Pétrus B. Koukpaki

The person behind FAITH-8, and the reason the company started with listening rather than with a product.

She has spent the past few years speaking with over 100 working parents from different countries, industries, careers and socioeconomic backgrounds — and has been explicit that the point of that work is to understand the infrastructure that could actually support them, not to add another product to the category.

She is currently speaking with HR and People leaders to understand what organisations actually need, what they value and what they are prepared to support.

“The complexity is the opportunity.” On why this is taking time

In her own words

“There’s a gap between the workplace and home that we don’t talk about enough. Not because parents need another benefit. But because work doesn’t end when the laptop closes.”

“We have spent years building infrastructure for businesses. Systems for productivity. Systems for communication. Systems for talent. But what happens to the people sustaining all of it, when the working day ends?”

“I’m not interested in building another product for working parents. I’m trying to understand the infrastructure that could actually support them.”

To the parents doing all of this while living with a disability, navigating accessibility barriers and managing additional demands: we see you. You belong in this conversation, too.

Where FAITH-8 came from

From a set of conversations to a company

  1. Founded

    2023, Edinburgh

The company is established around a single observation: the retention of working-parent talent is treated as a benefits problem when it is an infrastructure problem.

  2. Research

    Over 100 working parents

Interviews across countries, industries, careers and socioeconomic backgrounds. The finding: the parenting experience is not homogeneous, and the problem has many legs and layers.

  3. Position

    The third space

The company states its intent publicly: an infrastructure of belonging, connection and possibility for working parents — with accessibility and inclusion as the foundation.

  4. Now

    Employer research

Conversations with HR and People leaders on need, value and willingness to support — the second half of the listening phase, before building begins.

  5. Next

    Building

To follow. Nothing has been announced, priced or released, and the company says so itself.

Mission

Parents thrive. Children thrive. Workplaces thrive.

A third space, where professional ambition and family life are not treated as competing identities.

Where accessibility and inclusion are part of the foundation, not an afterthought. Where employers can move beyond offering benefits towards creating experiences that support the people behind their workforce. Where parents can connect, grow and thrive.

FAITH-8's stated belief is that the future of work requires more than flexibility — it requires infrastructure that recognises the whole person, including the different realities of parenthood and disability.

  • Retention treated as infrastructure, not as a benefit
  • Community as the first thing built, because connection is the first thing missing
  • Career progression designed across the years, not just the leave period
  • Accessibility in the foundation rather than retrofitted
  • Employer research before product design
